Fuji Seikoʼs semiautomatic Type-S safe deposit boxes combines convenience and labor-saving operation. This semiautomatic safe deposit boxes offers the flexibility of unattended or attended operation.
Features
The extended hours of use allow the offering of safe deposit boxes services outside operation hours. This not only delivers expanded and enhanced operations, but also allows operators to anticipate an increase in after-hour fees and other charges.
This model also supports an attended reception system. While it minimizes the operations of reception staff, it allows staff to provide services that value interactions with customers.
The Type-S automates the verification of customers and usage records while delivering labor-saving operation. The model also provides customers with access to safe deposit boxes anytime with a simple operation.
This type supports biometric authentication for safe deposit boxes system. By incorporating biometric information (vein authentication), which remains unchanged throughout an individual's lifetime, this model provides enhanced security in the operation of safe deposit boxes.
(Not all models support biometric authentication.)
Working in conjunction with a cash machine, customers can use the safe deposit boxes like an ATM. It also helps foster a new impression by offering a differentiated service from other operators.
Unattended reception system
Customer enters the facility and inserts a card.
After verification of identity using a customer input device, the customer enters the safe deposit boxes room.
After entering the room, the customer uses a key to unlock the safe deposit box.
The customer removes a inner box from the safe deposit box.
After taking care of business, the customer returns the inner box to the safe deposit boxes and locks the door.
The customer inserts the key to exit.
Administratorʼs computer
The computer is set up in the sales office for registration, such as signing up a new user and discontinuation; managing administration criteria, such as the operation hours of safe deposit boxes, and use time for customers; inquiries of the status of use of the safe deposit boxes on that day; and the creation of status reports (printing out journals).
Anteroom card reader
The reader checks a card to prevent the entry of unauthorized people. In addition, it displays full occupancy when the number of users reaches the preset number of people. The reader also controls the hours of operation of the safe deposit boxes.
Customer entry device (reception device)
After inserting a card, PIN is entered using a numeric keypad for verification of identity to unlock the safe deposit boxes. In addition, an alarm will sound if an invalid card is used and incorrect PIN is entered three times.
Safe deposit box and its safety function
E-type is built with high-grade stainless steel hairline finish sheets, which are 10 mm in thickness.
There are 26 types of standard specification units to choose depending on the purpose for building safe deposit boxes.
VE-type is lightweight with a stainless steel molded processed hairline finish. Each unit is designed for vertical placement for efficient installation.
A red light turns on when the bank lock is unlocked by reception operation.
After use, the customerʼs key cannot be pulled out without closing the boxʼs door completely.
The customerʼs key does not lock the box when the inner box is placed backwards.
Exit device
The door has a structure that it will not unlock without inserting and pulling out the key. This prevents customers from leaving their keys behind.
